1996       Establishment of the Magna Engineering Center Konstruktions-GmbH (MEC) with offices in Munich, Sindelfingen and Wolfsburg.
1997      
Office opened in Leamington Spa (England) and introduction of a corporate-wide quality management system according to ISO 9001.
1999       Office opened in Heilbronn/Neckarsulm.
2001       Office opened in Austria (Graz).
2003       Continuation of the UK business with the new Magna Engineering Centre UK Ltd.
2005       Change of company's name from Magna Engineering Center Konstruktions-GmbH to Magna Engineering Center GmbH
2007       MEC and Decoma Engineering act as one Division of Magna Exteriors & Interiors, being responsible for the product development.
